| The Group's principal activities are television broadcasting, publishing, radio broadcasting, specialty cable channels, outdoor advertising and Internet websites. Television Broadcast segment includes broadcast television networks in four countries, specialty channels and two radio stations. The Publishing and Online segment includes Canadian newspaper operations and Internet operations including the canada.com web portal. The Outdoor Advertising segment sells out-of-home advertising. The Radio Broadcast segment consists of radio operations in New Zealand. It has operations in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. |
