| The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market microwave equipment used in the reception of television programming transmitted from satellites and wireless terrestrial transmission sites and two-way transceivers used for wireless high-speed Internet-broadband service. The Satellite business unit designs and markets reception products for the Direct Broadcast Satellite television market in the United States and a line of consumer and commercial products for video and data reception. The Wireless Access business unit designs and markets integrated reception and two-way transmission equipment for broadband data and video applications. On 04-Apr-2007 the Group acquired Smartlink Radio Networks and acquired Aercept on 16-Mar-2007. In Aug 2007 the Group sold The Solution Division. |
