The Group's principal activities are producing rubber blacks, performance products, inkjet colorants and aerogel, fumed metal oxides, tantalum and cesium formate drilling fluids. The Group operates in four segments. Core segment is composed of Rubber Blacks and Supermetals business. Rubber Blacks are used in tires and industrial products. Supermetals Business produces tantalum, niobium and its alloys. Performance segment is comprised of two product lines: specialty grades of carbon black and thermoplastic concentrates; and fumed metal oxides. New Business segment includes Inkjet Colorants and Aerogel Business. Aerogel product is used in skylight, window, wall and roof systems for insulating eco-daylighting applications. Specialty Fluids Business produces and markets cesium formate as a drilling and completion fluid used in oil and gas well operations. It operates in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and China.
