The Group's principal activities are to manage and distribute a broad range of financial products and services, including mutual funds, segregated funds, financial planning, insurance, investment advice, wealth management and estate and succession planning. It operates in two reportable segments: Asset Management and Asset Administration. The Asset Management Segment derives revenues principally from fees earned on the management of several families of mutual and segregated funds. The Asset Administration Segment derives revenues principally from commissions and fees earned on the sale of mutual funds and other financial products.
