The Group's principal activity is operating in the mining and mineral exploration industry in Australia. In 2009, the Group produced 41,900 tonnes of zinc, 21,300 tonnes of lead and 17,000 kilograms of silver. It is also involved in research development. Its development projects include Rasp Mine Project in Broken Hill and Panorama Project. It currently controls or is in joint venture over 4,930km2 of tenements around its existing operating and development projects at Cobar, Broken Hill and Panorama. The Cobar project area covers approximately 3,100km2 of highly prospective Devonian aged marine sediments of the Cobar Basin.
