The Group's principal activity are leasing containers and providing management services. The Group operates in two segments: Container Leasing and Container Management. It purchases new containers, lease them to container shipping lines and either retain them as part of their owned fleet or sell them to container investors for whom they provide management services. As of December 31, 2008, its fleet comprised 778,000 TEUs.
