The Group operates through three segments: Company Restaurant; Franchise and Property. As of June 30, 2009, the Group operates 1,043 Company restaurants and 6,491 franchise restaurants in the United States and Canada. It owned or franchised 11,925 restaurants in 73 countries and U.S. territories. The Group restaurant features are flame-broiled hamburgers, chicken and other specialty sandwiches, french fries, soft drinks and other affordably-priced food items. Its trademarks include Burger King(R), Whopper(R), Whopper Jr.(R), Have It Your Way(R), Burger King Bun Halves and Crescent Logo(R). |
