Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve a total return in excess of a composite index, weighted as to 75% FTSE All-Share Index and 25% FTSE World (ex UK) Index, by investing principally in a diversified international portfolio of equities and equity related securities. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Sep-2006. Investment Management services are provided by F&C Investment Business Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.075% of the value of Company's total assets less current liabilities payable quarterly in advance. The agreement is terminable at anytime by either party giving less than six months' notice. |
