| The Group's principal activity is to own, develop, operate and franchise Chili's Grill and Bar (Chili's), On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina (On The Border) and Maggiano's Little Italy (Maggiano's) restaurant brands. At 24-June-2009, the Group owned, operated or franchised 1,689 restaurants. The Group also has restaurants in the countries of Bahrain, Canada, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Germany, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela. In December 2008, the Group sold Macaroni Grill to Mac Acquisition LLC, an affiliate of San Francisco-based Golden Gate Capital. |
