| The Group's principal activity is to undertake construction and industrial works. The Group operates under five major segments, Construction, Property Development, Roads, Media and Telecom. Under Construction, the Group is involved in construction of buildings, civil works and is also involved in electricity management. Under Property development, the Group is involved in construction of commercial buildings, business and retail parks and urban development. Under Roads, the Group is involved in construction, maintenance and development of transport infrastructure and roads. Under Media, the Group operates TF1, a free to air television channel in France. Under Telecom, the Group provides mobile communication service through its subsidiary Bouygues Telecom. The Group has a global presence. On 31-May-2007, the Group acquired Colas Rail. |
