The Group's principal activity is to acquire, explore and to develop oil and natural gas. It holds interests in Pembina Area, west central Alberta that comprise approximately 456 gross operated producing wells and 167 gross non-operated producing wells, Shaunavon Area, southwest Saskatchewan, which consists of approximately 50 producing wells and the southeast Saskatchewan properties, as well as producing and non-producing properties in various other areas of Alberta and Saskatchewan. On 12-Nov-2008, the Group acquired Silverwing Energy Inc and Bonterra Energy Income Trust.
