The Group's principal activity is the operation of supermarket chains, department stores and other retail chains in Israel. The Group's Brands include MEGA, SHEFA SHUK and SUPER CENTER. It currently operates under three formats: large MEGA stores for large shopping trips, medium-sized SuperCenters neighborhood stores that emphasize service, and hard-discount Shefa Shuk for the most price-conscious and Orthodox sectors. The Group's shares are traded on the Tel Aviv and the New York stock exchanges.
