| Bird Construction Income Fund (Fund) is a Canada-based, open-ended income trust. Bird Construction Company Limited (Bird) is the wholly owned subsidiary of the Fund. The Fund, through its ownership of the Company, operates as a general contractor across Canada and in selected areas of the United States. The Fund’s services its clients in various sectors, including industrial, institutional, retail, commercial, multi-tenant residential, light industrial and renovation, and restoration construction using fixed price, design-build, unit price, cost reimburseable, guaranteed upset price and construction management contract delivery methods. On February 1, 2008, the Fund completed the acquisition of Rideau Construction Incorporated and Rideau Management Services Incorporated (collectively Rideau Construction). |
