The Group's principal activities are the research, development and distribution of bio-chemical and medical products. The Group's operations are carried out through three segments Plasma Proteins, Diagnostics and Microbiological Monitoring. The Plasma Proteins segment researches, develops, manufactures and distributes drugs on the basis of human blood plasma. The preparations are used to treat diseases of the immune or haemopoietic system. The Diagnostic segment produces and distributes products for blood group and tissue typing in medical laboratories. Microbiological Monitoring segment researches, develops, produces and markets products used in hygiene monitoring of air and surfaces in industry The Group has operations in Europe, America and Asia.
