The Group's principal activity is the provision of banking services which include loans, advances and lines of credit to all sections of the community, credit card facilities, leasing, corporate and international services, accounts paying facilities, operation of an electronic funds switching system and selling of co-branded general insurance, life insurance and investment products underwritten and managed by third parties, equipment and business finance, and international and electronic banking. It operates principally in Australia, with the majority of customers being in Queensland, with the exception of leasing assets which are spread through out Australia and New Zealand.
