The Group's principal activities are to provide a range of retail banking, wealth management and investment banking products and solutions. It serves Canadian clients through personal and commercial banking business, BMO Bank of Montreal and BMO Nesbitt Burns. In the United States, clients are served through Harris Bank, Harris Nesbitt and wealth management offices across the United States. The Group is made up of three client groups: Personal and Commercial Client Group, Private Client Group and Investment Banking Group. As of 31-Oct-2008, the Group operated through 983 branches in Canada, the United States and other countries.
