The Group's principal activity is providing banking services to customers ranging from individuals to large corporations. The services are managed in the following segment areas for internal reporting purposes: large corporate banking, middle market corporate banking, retail and personal banking services, international banking services, and treasury banking services. Its other activities provided by its subsidiaries include securities brokerage, mutual fund management, factoring, insurance brokerage and financial advisory services. It has a network of 241 branches, 1,001 automated teller machines and other electronic distribution channels. Some of its branches are located in New York and Miami and the representative offices can be found in Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Sao Paulo, and a foreign trade office in Hong Kong.
