Banco Santander Peru SA is a Peru-based financial institution principally engaged in the wholesale banking sector. The Bank’s services and products include current and saving accounts, fixed-term deposits, consumer loans, foreign trade, money transfers, financial assessment, securities brokerage and currency exchange, among others. In addition, the Bank is involved in the provision of treasury, leasing and factoring services. As of December 31, 2011, Banco Santander SA was the Company’s majority shareholder with 99% of its interest.
