BBVA Banco Continental SA, formerly Banco Continental SA, is a Peru-based banking institution. The Bank’s products and services include saving and current accounts, fixed-term deposits, consumer and commercial loans, mortgages, debit and credit cards and other banking to businesses and individuals. The Bank is a parent of Grupo Continental, a group which operates a network of 275 branches under a number of controlled entities. As of December 31, 2011, the Bank owned fully consolidated subsidiaries Continental Bolsa Sociedad Agente de Bolsa SA, BBVA Asset Management Continental SA Sociedad Administradora de Fondos, Continental Sociedad Titulizadora SA and Inmuebles y Recuperaciones Continental SA. In addition, Holding Continental SA was the Company’s majority shareholder with 92.24% of its interest.
