The Group's principal activity is to provide telecommunication services. The Group operates in six segments: Mobile telecommunication services, Fixed line telecommunication services, Internet, Data communication circuits, Wholesale and Others. The Group offers services such as international roaming, high speed Internet connections, WiFi, MPLS IP-VPN network provisioning and management, Datacoms services, Provision and Support of PABX, GSM and VoIP. The Group caters to both individuals and public or private sectors. The Group also offers products on wholesale to other private telecom operators. The Group operates mainly in Bahrain and other Middle-East countries. In 2007, the Group acquired a 20% of equity stake in Yemen Company For Mobile Telephony YSC ("Sabafon").
