BR Malls Participacoes SA is an integrated shopping center company in Brazil with a portfolio of 34 malls, representing 984.1 thousand square meters in total Gross Leasable Area (GLA) and 428.6 thousand square meters in owned GLA. The Company is also a shopping center service provider, manager and leaser. Its business approach is divided in 3 areas: Mall, Merchandising and Events. In the Mall area, the Company manages kiosks and promotional and assistant stands. The Merchandising area refers to indoor and outdoor advertising, and the Events division offers events services within the shopping center perimeter. Its shopping centers are located throughout Brazil. In 2008, the Company inaugurated Independencia Shopping, under the Greenfield project. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Ecisa Engenharia Ltda, Ecisa Participacoes Ltda and BRMalls International Finance Ltd, among others.
