| The Group's principal activity is to provide commercial banking services. The Group operates under four business segments: Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, International Banking and Investment and Treasury activities. Retail Banking division mainly handles individual customers' deposits and provides consumer finance like loans, overdrafts, credit facilities and funds transfer facilities. Corporate Banking provides loans and other credit facilities, deposit and current accounts for corporate and institutional customers in Bahrain. International Banking offers loans and other credit facilities, deposit and current accounts for international corporate and institutional customers. Investment and Treasury division provides money market, trading and treasury services as well as manages Group's funding operations. The Group operates mainly in Middle East, North America, European Union countries and Asia |
