Chemicals division offers inorganic petrochemicals and intermediates products used in pharmaceuticals. Plastics segment develops engineering plastics, polyamides and polyamide intermediates. Performance products consist of care chemicals, performance chemicals and acrylics & dispersions. Functional solution offers catalysts, construction chemicals and coatings. Agricultural solutions offer products that safeguard against fungal disease, insects and weeds, improve quality & ensure yields. Oil and Gas segment explores, produces and trades crude oil and natural gas. The Group operates in Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. During the year 2008 the group acquired Revus Energy ASA, Norway.
