The Group's principal activities are developing and manufacturing integrated safety systems for major automotive manufacturers in the world. The products include airbags, inflators, seat belts, safety electronics, steering wheels, seat components and child seats. The Group operates in over twenty nine countries. Some of its largest customers include Ford, Renault and General Motors. The Group primarily markets the products in North America, Japan, Europe and Asia Pacific. On 26-Sept-2008, it acquired part of the automotive radar sensors business of Tyco Electronics.
