The Group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture and market value-added products for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical and nutrition industries. During the year the Group discontinued the Active Ingredients and Specialty Chemical Division and now operates under one segment, the Health and Nutrition Division. The Group sells and markets its products in more than 35 countries, primarily in North America, Europe and Asia. On 02-Jan-2009, the Group acquired EAB Enzym-Arzneimittel-Berlin GmbH.
