| The Company's principal activity is that of a closed-ended Investment Company. The objective of the Company is to achieve long term capital growth through investment wholly or mainly in listed Japanese equities. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Apr-2008. Investment management services are provided by Atlantis Fund Management (Guernsey) Ltd for a fee accrued weekly and payable monthly in arrears at the annual rate of 1.5% of the weekly Net Asset Value of the Company. The agreement is terminable by not less than twelve months notice. |
