The Group's principal activities are construction and management of toll motorways and tunnels under license, as well as the designing, implementing and financing of electronic fee collection and tolling systems for large scale networks. It is a holding company with responsibility for portfolio strategies in the transport and communications infrastructures and network sectors. It owns 100% of Autostrade per l'Italia. Atlantia also has operations in overseas companies: in Poland (Stalexport), in Chile (Costanera Norte) and in the United States (Autostrade International of Virginia).
