The principal activity of the Group is the provision of drinkable water for the Athens greater metropolitan area as well as sewerage, wastewater treatment and disposal. It supplies over 4,000,000 people with potable water through a network that includes 1,744,458 metered connections and a total length of pipes of 7,555 kilometres. The sewerage sector serves 3,300,000 people with a total length of pipes of 5,800 kilometres.
