The Group's principal activities are to operate English and French specialty, pay and pay-per-view television broadcasting, radio broadcasting, outdoor advertising and e-business. The Group is also a private sector supporter of Canadian feature films through script and concept development and through pre-buys, license fees and equity investments. The operations of Group are carried out in three business segments: Television segment includes pay and pay-per-view television services and its revenues are derived from subscription fees, pay-per-view sales and advertising sales. The Radio segment includes FM and AM radio stations and revenues are derived from advertising aired on these stations. The Outdoor Advertising segment includes activities related to posting advertising on the Group's inventory of outdoor panels and its revenues are derived from the sale of such advertising. In August 2008, the Group closed its classified ad division TATV.
