The Group's principal activities are owning and managing ports and rail assets and associated operations and services. The Group operates through four segments: Intermodal; Container Ports; Auto, Bulk and General; and Coal. Intermodal includes ail freight haulage across mainline interstate rail networks. Container Ports includes ship to door logistics operations involving all shipping container terminal, port logistic, rail, road and metro haulage activities. Auto, Bulk and General includes stevedoring operations, bulk port operations, port related services and infrastructure management. Coal includes rail haulage of coal from coalfield to port for export and to domestic steelworks. Operations are carried out in Australia.
