| The Group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture and market minimally invasive surgical products for use in soft-tissue surgery. The products are based on patented Coblation technology that allows surgeons to operate with a high level of precision and accuracy, limiting damage to surrounding tissue and thereby reducing pain and speeding recovery for the patient. This technology is applicable to a broad range of soft-tissue surgical markets that includes sports medicine, spinal surgery, neurosurgery, cosmetic surgery, ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery, gynecology, urology, general surgery and various cardiology applications. The products are marketed in the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central America.
