| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture chemicals and chemical products. The Group operates under three major segments, Vinyl products, Industrial chemicals and Performance products. Under Vinyl Products, the Group offers Chlorochemicals, PVC and PEX products and Pipes. Under Industrial Chemicals, the Group offers acrylics, PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), Thiochemicals, Fluorochemicals, and Hydrogen Peroxide. Under Performance Products, the Group offers technical polymers such as polyamides used in automobile, aerospace and aeronautical industries, speciality chemicals, organic peroxides, additives, urea-formaldehyde resins and agrochemicals. The Group operates in Europe, the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia. In 2008, the Group acquired Altuglas International Denmark A/S and Altuglas Polivar Spa. |
