The Group's principal activities are to incorporate, operate, trade and invest in industrial projects and commercial companies involved in the building materials sector. The Group operates in three segments: Cement Factory, Block Factory and Steel. Cement Factory consists of production and sale of packed and bulk cement. Block Factory consists of production and sale of cement blocks. In 2008 the Group acquired Emirates Blocks Factory and Emirates Cement Factory.
