The Group's pharmaceutical business focuses on gene-based medicine that harnesses healthy brain cells to destroy cancer cells that attempt to proliferate. It is used for the treatment of patients with operable high-grade glioma, where the average survival period for patients, once diagnosed, is about eight months. It also has products designed to prevent the blocking of veins after vascular surgery. Product brands are Cerepro, Vitor and Trinam. In addition, the Group also has wound care portfolio centered on the prevention and treatment of foot, lower-leg and infected wounds. Product brands include Kerrabot, Kerraped, Neuropad and Flaminal. The Group operates in the United Kingdom and Finland. |
