Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is to undertake general insurance business. The Company operates under four segments: Accident and Liabilities, Fire, Marine and Other. Under the Accident and Liabilities segment, the Company offers insurance policies to cover professional indemnity, personal accident, money insurance, workmen's compensation, plate glass insurance, travel protection and public liability. Under the Fire segment, it offers insurance policies to cover losses due to fire. Under the segment Marine, it offers policies to cover marine hull, marine cargo, losses and damages to goods in transit and hauliers liability. Under the Other segment, it offers policies to cover motor insurance, engineering insurance, property insurance and medical insurance. The Group operates mainly in its domestic market. |
