The Company's principal activity is to closed-end, non-diversified management investment company, that has filed an election to be treated as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940. It has been approved as a regulated investment company under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Group makes debt and equity investments, primarily in middle-market companies in the form of mezzanine and senior secured loans, each of which may include an equity component and to a lesser extent, by making direct equity investments in such companies. The Company operates only in the United States.
