| The Group's principal activities are to provide risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting and specialty insurance underwriting. The activities are carried out through two operating segments: Risk and Insurance Brokerage Services consists of retail and wholesale brokerage services, affinity products, managing general underwriting, placement and captive management services and premium finance services. Consulting provides human capital management services to corporate clients utilizing five major practices such as employee benefits, compensation, management consulting, communications and human resource outsourcing. The customers of the Group include and businesses, insurance companies, professional organizations, independent agents and brokers, governments, and other entities. On November 2008, the Group acquired Benfield Group Limited. |
