Altayskogo vagonostroyeniya (Altayvagon OAO) is a Russia-based company involved in the production of railroad freight rolling stocks. Its products portfolio includes box cars, test cars, gondola cars, flat cars and tank cars, among others. In addition, Altayvagon OAO provides roundhouse servicing and overall repairs of rolling stocks. The Company distributes its products on the domestic market, as well as exports them abroad to such countries as Kazakhstan and Belarus. It operates through two branches: Kemerovo branch, which assembles various models of railroad flat wagons, and Rubtsovsk branch, which is engaged in the manufacture of steel casting. In addition, it has two affiliated companies, AVIK OOO and KPS-Service OOO. As of April 8, 2011, the Company’s corporate major shareholder was Nord OOO with a stake of 24.13%.
