The Group's principle activity is an integrated food supply chain from dairy farms through to retail stores. It also markets a range of food and beverage products under the brands ALMARAI ALYOUM SMOOTHY and ZADY, principally through retail outlets. The product range includes fresh and long-life dairy products, which are made primarily from fresh milk, as well as fruit juices, cheese, butter and some non-dairy products. The Group began operating in Saudi Arabia in 1976 and has grown until it was formed as Almarai Trading Company Limited, a Saudi limited liability company on 1991.
