| The Group's principal activity is to operate traditional convenience stores engaged in the sale of food and beverage items, motor fuel and other products and services. The products include fresh foods, fast foods, gasoline, ATMs, lottery tickets, newspapers, magazines and interactive terminals. The Group operates through a network of 5,119 convenience stores. Some of the brands of the Group are Triple'O, Take Away Cafe, Express Deli, Bites, Subway, AL Van Houtte, Seattle's Best Coffee, Grab 'n' Go, Fresh Express, Sunshine Joe Coffee Co, Froster and Sloche. The Group operates in Canada and the United States. During March 2008, the Group acquired 15 company-operated stores from Speedway Superamerica, LLC. |
