| The Group's principal activity is to provide transportation, food products and property development and management. It operates in three industries: Transportation, Real Estate and Agribusiness. The Transportation business operates freight, primarily between various ports on the United States Pacific coasts and major Hawaii ports and Guam, provides terminal, stevedoring and container equipment maintenance services in Hawaii and arranges intermodal transportation in North America. The Real Estate business purchases, develops, sells, manages and leases commercial and residential properties in Hawaii and on the United States Mainland. The Agribusiness is into growing sugarcane and coffee, producing bulk raw sugar, specialty food-grade sugars and marketing molasses and green coffee, provides sugar, petroleum and molasses hauling, general trucking services, mobile equipment maintenance and repair services, and self-service storage in Hawaii. |
