| The Group's principal activity is to design, manufacture and market paper machine clothing. The Group operates in three segments: Paper Machine Clothing, Albany Door Systems and Applied Technologies. The Paper Machine Clothing segment develops, manufactures, markets and services custom designed engineered fabrics used in the manufacture of paper, paperboard and products in other process industries. The Albany door systems segment is an aggregation of the Group's operations that manufacture and market Rapid Roll(R) doors. Applied technologies segment manufactures wires, belting products for nonwovens and pulp industries for wet and dry applications for home furnishings and oouter wear. The Group has manufacturing facilities in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Sweden and the United States. |
