| The Group's principal activities are to own shares of Kuwaiti or foreign shareholding and limited liabilities companies as well as participate in forming, administering, financing, and providing third party guarantees for these companies. The Group operates under three segments: Investment, Foodstuff and Printing. The Group also owns industrial rights for patents, trade names, designs and provides the same to other companies on lease. The Group also invests surplus funds in portfolios managed by specialized companies. The Group conducts its activities according to Islamic Sharia. The Group operates in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. |
