The Group's principal activity is to provide banking and financial solutions. The Group operates under three segments: Corporate banking and treasury and investments, Retail and private banking and Islamic banking. Corporate banking provides financial services, working capital finance, contractor finance, term loans and trade finance. Retail banking offers services related to savings plans, deposits, credit cards, loans and special fixed deposits. The Islamic banking carries out Islamic banking services through various Islamic modes of financing. Apart from the above, the Group also provides Internet, SMS and Telephone banking services. The Group operates in Qatar, Europe, North America and other Gulf countries.
