The business within the Group comprises several industries, including Oil & Gas, Refining & Chemicals, Mining & Metals & Power Generation. The Group operates in four segments: Energy Development & Services (MMO), Product & Technologies (P&T), Process & Construction (P&C) and Subsea. The MNO segment includes Maintenance, Modifications & Operations for offshore platforms & onshore oil & gas facilities. The P&T segment includes design, eng & manufacturing of advanced prod from downhole serv to marine equip, topside and land based systems & equip. The P&C segment includes studies, technologies & life cycle services for upgrading and operations support for process industries. The Subsea segment develops & offers subsea solutions. The Group operates mainly in Europe, Asia & North America. In 2008, the Group acquired Qserv Ltd & Aker Marine Contractors AS.
