AFGRI Limited (AFGRI) is an agricultural services provider, focussing on agricultural producers, agri-processors and consumers of agricultural and related products, both locally and internationally. The Company has three segments: AFGRI Financial Services, which includes the Capital and Broking operating units; AFGRI Agri Services, which comprises the Logistics and Producer Services divisions, and AFGRI Foods, which comprises the Animal Protein and Oil and Protein businesses. During the growing season, AFGRI’s Producer Services provides the farmer with all the primary inputs necessary for a successful crop. The storage facilities provided by its Handling and Storage division allows both producers and consumers of grain to manage their pricing. Before planting, AFGRI Capital provides the farmer with the finance throughout the growing season seasonal finance. AFGRI Foods converts the raw grain, together with protein and energy, into balanced feed for the livestock and dairy industries.
