The solutions and services enable the connection between the central office switches of telecommunications service providers and their end users for voice and high-speed Internet, data and video communications. The products include Integrated Multiservice Access Platforms, Multiservice Central Office Switching Platforms, Optical Add-Drop Multiplexers, Integrated Access Devices, and network element management systems, cabinets. The customers of the Group include independent operating companies, large incumbent local exchange carriers and international carriers. The Group markets its products mainly in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, France and Australia. On 20-Feb-2004, the Group acquired North American Access, a business unit of Marconi Communications, Inc. |
