| The Group's activity is to develop software and related equipment required to view and interact with digital TV broadcast through cable, satellite, terrestrial and telecommunications networks. The Group develops consumer premise devices, such as set-top boxes, required to view digital TV. The Group's activities are carried out through three segments: Digital TV Equipment, Middleware and New Initiative. The digital TV equipment segment includes the development of equipment and software for digital television and broadband data communication. The middleware segment includes middleware software developed according to open standards such as MHP, and offers related services. New Initiative segment is related to broadcasting technology and multimedia distribution. The Group's operations are located at Australia, Italy, Philippines, Poland, Taiwan, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. On 31-Jan-2006, the Group acquired Vidicom Systems Corporation. |
