| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, import and export of sugar, alcohol and other derivatives of sugarcane. It manufactures different kinds of sugar like: crystal sugar, granulated refined sugar, starch icing sugar and inverted liquid sugar and also ethanol (AEHC) - Fuel Hydrous Ethylic Alcohol. It also deals with the farming of sugarcane. It has operating units in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. On 26/07/2006 the Group acquired Cruz Alta Participacoes Ltda. |
