| The Group's principal activity is to operate a chain of hotels, casinos, restaurants and provide corporate service. The Group operates under three segments: Hotels, Services and Other Activities. Under the Hotels segment, the Group operates luxury hotels as well as low budget hotels. Some of their hotels include Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Etap Hotel. Under Services, the Group offers services such as car rentals, ticket restaurants and consulting services. Under the Other Activities segment, the Group operates restaurants and casinos, offers catering services on trains and undertakes holding activities. The Group operates throughout the world. In 2007, the Group acquired Kadeos, PrePay Technologies, Motivano UK, Tintelingen BV, Quasar, Surf Gold and Autocupon. |
